Craps is one of the more exciting and social table games played in Casinos today.
It is one of the few truly social games played in modern casinos, and one of the few played with dice. If the dice total is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 then the point is established. In the Point phase of the game, the objective is to roll the same number as the Point, before you roll a seven. After the point is rolled the dice will be rolled continuously until the same point is rolled again or a 7. The game is played in turns. At the start of a turn a shooter is chosen.
In the simplest form of the game, you place a bet on the Pass Line and attempt to roll a 7.
Betting the Odds: once the point has been established, the player can bet 2 or more times the
amount of their original bet that the point will be rolled before a 7.
Laying the Odds: this is the opposite of Betting the odds. The first roll is called the Come Out roll. Come Bet: this bet is similar to the Pass Line bet, but the player can make this bet at
anytime.
