Craps is one of the more exciting and social table games played in Casinos today.
It is one of the few truly social casino games, and one of the few played with dice. A player can
place Pass-Line bets, and if the initial roll is a 7 or 11, the player wins. If
another number is rolled initially, this number is called the point, and that
roll “Establishes the Point”. The result of the roll determines which bets win or lose. A 2, 3 or 12 loses. In the simplest form of the game you place a bet on the Pass Line and attempt to roll a seven.
The stickman controls the action of the dice and the pace of the game. After
seeing all bets are down, the stickman pushes a few sets of dice to the shooter.
That players selects a pair of dice and is ready to roll them across the table
so that they hit the wall at the opposite end. If, on the first roll, you make a
7 or 11, you've rolled a "natural" and you win. What you win is the
equivalent amount of chips you have bet on the pass line.
