Craps is a game of chance and is played on a large sunken table with a pair of dice that are thrown by the Shooter.
Craps is played by making bets against the casino. If the dice total is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 then the point is established.
There are four people actively running the game. The boxman, who sits behind the
middle of the table, is the boss. The amount of the bet and payoff is exactly the same as for a Pass Odds bet having the same point. Anything
else, and the bet stands. Don’t Pass Line Bet is basically the opposite of the Pass line Bet.
Shooter : The Player that rolls the dice. When a Come or Don't Come point is established the Come and Don't Come Bets are moved to the appropriate numbered box. It is an attempt to win a Pass
Line bet by rolling 7 or 11.
Laying the Odds: this is the opposite of Betting the odds. If, on the first roll, you make a
7 or 11, you've rolled a "natural" and you win. What you win is the
equivalent amount of chips you have bet on the pass line.
