Craps is the most popular dice game in the Unites States.
In the simplest game you place a bet on the pass line and attempt to roll a seven. The object of Craps is to predict the number displayed on the dice after the dice toss. There are two ways to bet on Craps, the "right" way, that is with the dice, or the "wrong" way, against the dice. Craps is played on a large sunken table with dice thrown by the shooter. Other players may join in and place their own bets. At the start of a turn a shooter is chosen.
If the initial roll is
a 2 or 3, the player wins, 12 ties, and 7 or 11 loses.
The stickman controls the action of the dice and the pace of the game.
Betting the Odds: once the point has been established, the player can bet 2 or more times the
amount of their original bet that the point will be rolled before a 7. Pass Line bets lose if the come-out roll is 2, 3 or 12. If, on the first roll, you make a
7 or 11, you've rolled a "natural" and you win. What you win is the
equivalent amount of chips you have bet on the pass line.
