While the game does look complex and has its own extensive jargon like ‘boxcars’, ‘hard ways’ and ‘horn bet’ it is a relatively simple game to master. One person, the shooter (who may or may not be betting), rolls two dice. An Odds bet can be made on a Come Bet after its point is established by clicking the mouse in the numbered box holding the Come Bet. There are quite a number of bets to choose from. Come Odds can be optioned as being "on" (working) on the come out roll by selecting Odds on come out in the Setup Dialog Box. Note, you cannot make a Come Odds bet on a come out roll if this option is "off".
Shooter : The Player that rolls the dice.
The stickman controls the action of the dice and the pace of the game.
Betting the Odds: once the point has been established, the player can bet 2 or more times the
amount of their original bet that the point will be rolled before a 7.
Laying the Odds: this is the opposite of Betting the odds.
The Clear button removes all chips that are not on established points. This is where you place a bet on either the Pass Line or the Don't Pass Line and try to roll a 7 or 11.
