Craps is a dice game, in which all bets are placed against the house.
In the simplest game you place a bet on the pass line and attempt to roll a seven. A game of Craps can consist of two distinct phases, the Coming Out phase and the Point phase. While the game does look complex and has its own extensive terminology, it is relatively simple to master. Placing a Pass Line bet, you are betting that the shooter rolls the established
point before rolling a 7, or you are betting that the initial roll will be
either a 7 or 11. If the shooter rolls a 2, 3, or 12, the player loses. In the simplest form of the game you place a bet on the Pass Line and attempt to roll a seven. Don’t Pass Line Bet is basically the opposite of the Pass line Bet.
If any other number is rolled it becomes the point for that Come bet.
Betting the Odds: once the point has been established, the player can bet 2 or more times the
amount of their original bet that the point will be rolled before a 7. Pass Line bets lose if the come-out roll is 2, 3 or 12. Here the player is betting that a 7
will be rolled before the established point is rolled. If any other number is rolled, a Point is established.
