Craps is a dice game, in which all bets are placed against the house.
In the simplest game you place a bet on the pass line and attempt to roll a seven. Craps is usually played on a large sunken table. In the Coming Out phase, the objective is to roll a seven or an eleven, while betting on the Pass Line. If you roll four, five, six, eight, nine or ten instead, a Point is established. The amount of the bet and payoff is exactly the same as for a Pass Odds bet having the same point. These bets win or lose based upon the next roll of the dice as their come out roll. Don’t Pass Line Bet is basically the opposite of the Pass line Bet.
The shooter’s goal is to pass.
The stickman controls the action of the dice and the pace of the game. After
seeing all bets are down, the stickman pushes a few sets of dice to the shooter.
That players selects a pair of dice and is ready to roll them across the table
so that they hit the wall at the opposite end. The first roll is called the Come Out roll. What you win is the
equivalent amount of chips you have bet on the pass line.
