Craps is a game of chance and is played on a large sunken table with a pair of dice that are thrown by the Shooter.
In casino craps, the players place their bets and the casino bank
"covers" them. A game of Craps can consist of two distinct phases, the Coming Out phase and the Point phase. A player can
place Pass-Line bets, and if the initial roll is a 7 or 11, the player wins. There are two ways to bet on Craps, the "right" way, that is with the dice, or the "wrong" way, against the dice. Among the best bets are Pass and Come, especially when you take advantage of the associated free odds bets. The shooter is the player who is currently holding the dice. Anything
else, and the bet stands. Each dealer handles all the players on his side.
Shooter : The Player that rolls the dice.
The stickman controls the action of the dice and the pace of the game.
Betting the Odds: once the point has been established, the player can bet 2 or more times the
amount of their original bet that the point will be rolled before a 7. Pass Line bets lose if the come-out roll is 2, 3 or 12. Here the player is betting that a 7
will be rolled before the established point is rolled. If any other number is rolled, a Point is established.
