In the simplest game you place a bet on the pass line and attempt to roll a seven. The first roll in a Craps round is called the come out roll. The game is played with a pair of dice, which are thrown by the ‘shooter’, a player who is currently holding the dice. If
another number is rolled initially, this number is called the point, and that
roll “Establishes the Point”. It is strongly suggested that you read up about the kinds of bets available in the Types of Bets section.
The shooter’s goal is to pass. The Come bet cannot be removed after a point is established. Pass Line bets lose if the come-out roll is 2, 3 or 12. The first roll is called the Come Out roll. Come Bet: this bet is similar to the Pass Line bet, but the player can make this bet at
anytime.
